Alastair Turnbull on stage Performing a show about Robert Burns.

Alastair Turnbull

I love working with an audience. Telling stories, singing songs and bringing a room to life. Whether this is at a Burns Supper, a community venue or a corporate event, I feed off the energy of the crowd then direct it right back at them.

I really enjoy speaking at Burns Suppers - doing The Address to the Haggis and the immortal memory. However, I enjoy performing an entire show even more, encouraging a crowd to sing along and shout out answers to questions. Seeing people enjoying themselves, whilst learning a little bit more about Robert Burns, is fabulous!.

Take a look at the videos below and get an idea of what it is that I have to offer.

If you would like me to perform a show at your venue, then please contact me.

If there is any other project you would like me to be involved in, then yes, you’ve guessed it, please contact me. Thanks!

Alastair Turnbull Playing acoustic guitar and singing at a charity event. The songs are House of the rising sun and Auld Lang Syne. I was asked to take part in this acoustic night organised by my daughters friends, (its my daughter singing with me in the video). It was in aid of the local food bank so I lent a hand. It was a great night! We heard a lot of acts, had a lot of fun and raised some money. Win Win!

This is a little rough around the edges - but it was great fun taking part!
